For Health Professionals
Calm, body-led nervous system support that complements your care
Many clients present with stress, anxiety or persistent pain that does not fully resolve through cognitive or medical approaches alone. MJ Helping Hand offers gentle, trauma‑informed, body‑based support that works alongside psychological and medical care to help regulate the nervous system and restore a sense of safety and ease in the body.
This work is not a replacement for psychotherapy or medical treatment. It is a complementary, stabilisation‑focused approach designed to support clients who are otherwise functioning, but struggling.

What MJ Helping Hand Offers
MJ Helping Hand provides Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and nervous system‑led bodywork for adults experiencing:
-
Chronic stress, anxiety or burnout
-
Persistent pain, tension or fatigue with a stress component
-
Nervous system dysregulation
-
Sleep disruption
-
Emotional overwhelm held in the body
-
Difficulty settling, resting or feeling safe in their body
The focus is on regulation, capacity and integration, rather than symptom suppression or narrative processing.

How This Work Supports Your Clients
Clients often arrive seeking relief from stress or physical symptoms. As regulation improves, it is common for long‑held or early patterns to gently surface. These are approached carefully and only as the body allows.
Sessions support:
-
Nervous system regulation and down‑regulation
-
Increased interoception and body awareness
-
Improved tolerance to internal sensations
-
Reduced physiological stress load
-
Greater capacity to engage in psychological work
This can enhance the effectiveness of ongoing therapy by supporting the body side of healing.
Clinical Approach and Boundaries
MJ Helping Hand works within a clear, ethical scope of practice.

Sessions are gentle, non‑directive and body‑led
